Description of Services:

The program mission is to increase the quality and availability of child care in the Bronx and assist community residents in becoming registered family child care providers. If someone is interested in starting a child care business we provide assistance with filling out and completing Department of Health applications and requirements, *65 hours of free training and a 50-hour internship at KHCC and monitor the homes through regular monthly home visits. Once this process is complete we will assist with marketing of their programs. If a community resident needs quality child care we will link them with a provider.

Restrictions: Home must have 2 means of egress, must pass State
Clearance, Home must meet or surpass Department of
