SONYC Center Based Tween Program

Our SONYC Center Based Tween program engages youth from several local schools, including MS. 244, MS. 95, MS. 368, and M.S. 141 among others.  SONYC Tweens offers local 6th, 7th, and 8th graders a hot meal nightly, later evening hours, and merged offerings with our Teen and College Directions Programs.  Students from all local middle schools are welcome!

We operate for 38 weeks during the school year including most school breaks.  Program runs from Monday-Friday 3-7:30 pm (until 9pm for older middle school youth), and Saturdays from 11am-3pm.   Weekly activity offerings include a wide variety of leadership opportunities, recreational outlets, arts initiatives, technology skill building, and both social and academic support.
