Join KHCC's Changing Futures Program, a free, long-term trauma therapy and counseling service, for an evening to honor Sexual Assault Awareness Month. The gallery is a community event to create art, learn from guest speakers, support survivors of sexual assault and encourage all people to embrace their voice.
Survivors and supporters are invited to create their own piece of art through t-shirts, postcards, and posters with messages of hope, awareness and encouragement. Materials will be provided or guests may bring their own.
It will include:
- animal assisted therapy
All are welcome to attend the night's event.
- Miriam Lacroix of Lacroix Ramos, LLP, a law firm dedicated to
providing family and humanitarian-based legal immigration services
- Emma Kaywin, a sexual health educator and activist
- Michelle Corrao shares her story to promote awareness and the debilitating effects of sexual violence
