Growing Futures Summer Internship
This is a paid internship that introduces participants to community gardening, food security, and sustainability. Interns will grow, maintain, and harvest produce from five community gardens in the Northwest Bronx.
Thursday, July 5 - Friday, August 16
Tuesday - Friday 10am-4pm with one hour for lunch
Desired Skills:
- Interest in exploring careers in gardening, the food systems process, and food security issues
- Mature with the ability to work independently and as a team
- Reliable
- Organized
- Good communication skills
- Strong attention to detail
