Bronx Hot Sauce is BACK at KHCC! #heatthathelps

Back in Stock!

Kingsbridge Heights Community Center (KHCC) is a proud partner of Small Axe Peppers, the makers of The Bronx Hot Sauce. Through this partnership, we are excited to provide bottles of The Bronx Hot Sauce for purchase!

Small Axe began in the Bronx, and it was launched on the premise that community gardens are essential to urban neighborhoods and deserve a way to grow a crop for profit. Each summer, a long stretch of the main KHCC garden is dedicated to growing serrano peppers which, along with peppers from more than 70 community gardens in 15 cities across our borough, are made into The Bronx Hot Sauce. Described by its creators as "masterfully balanced by the garlic-forward base and fiery spice," this green sauce is an excellent addition to any pantry!

Growing these peppers is a lesson in entrepreneurship for KHCC's teen interns, and a labor of love for all who tend to our community garden.

Your support keeps our summers spicy!
