The Center would not be here
if it hadn't been for Mary's pushing and prodding
and attention to detail. She was tireless. She
was there from the beginning and has stuck with
it. She's the one who kept us all going.

In February 1975, the KHCC Board "sat amid
the wreckage of the building , well-ventilated
by the newly broken windows, and wondered, where
do we go from here?". This is when the history
of KHCC began.
