Economic Development Program

Are you ready to build a career? Are you ready to own your own business? We can teach you how.

Our Child Care Training Program will help you learn everything you need to know to start your own home-based business as an Early Child Care Provider and support you throughout the process. The training is open to adults of any education level, and is offered in English and Spanish.

In the course you will:

• Train to become a New York State Registered and Licensed Child Care Provider
• Learn key topics in both Child Development and Business Management
• Get the mandated 30 hours of Health and Safety instruction
• Find out how to take advantage of Federal CACFP (Food Program Reimbursement)
• Infant/Child CPR & First Aid
• Refresher course for license renewal available

We also offer:

• ESOL (English as a second language)
• Citizenship Classes
