Changing Futures Program Partners with Ping Chong + Company
On April 23, 2013 KHCC will host a special performance as part of Ping Chong + Company's Secret Survivors National Initiative. It will be a 40-minute production directed by Jesca Prudencio (PCC), and written by Jesca Prudencio and Ireen Ninonuevo (KHCC), in collaboration with Sara Zatz (PCC). Therapists from KHCC will share their own stories, as well as give voice to the experiences of child survivors who have gone through KHCC’s child sexual abuse prevention and treatment program.
The Changing Futures Program participated in Ping Chong + Company's Summer Training Institute, an intensive week-long workshop exploring the innovative community-based performance and documentary theater practices behind Ping Chong's award-winning Undesirable Elements series.

Director for Clinical Services Interviewed by NBC News
Our Assistant Executive Director of Clinical Services Billye Jones-Mulraine was recently interviewed by NBC News concerning the boundaries of student-teacher contact.
Since 1982, KHCC has offered the only long-term treatment for child sexual abuse in the Bronx that is always free and offered in a welcoming, non-hospital setting, through our Child Sexual Abuse Treatment and Prevention (CSA) area. We are also part of the End Child Sexual Abuse Campaign of education and advocacy, a national effort funded by the Ms. Foundation for Women. Billye has lent her expertise on this issue to various news outlets and publications.
